Since National Dog Day will be celebrated again on August 26th, like every year, I designed this FREE Dog Care Planner to help owners document critical information about their dogs, which might be crucial at some point in their lives or their dogs’ lives.

It is horrible how these magnificent companions are used as breeding machines in puppy mills and how many shelters are forced to put hundreds of them to sleep every year. National Dog Day aims to raise awareness about adopting these great companions, regardless of breed, to help reduce this situation.

The person I admire and follow to raise my dogs has always been Cesar Milan, The Dog Whisperer. His books and show have always taught me essential lessons about raising my girls as well-behaved family members, with me as a pack leader, and I would like to recommend the books I have used. You can find them at our local library, used bookstore, and on Amazon. Clicking the titles will take you to the right page through my affiliate link.
