World Bee Day is celebrated with the purpose of raising globally awareness of the very important role of honey bees as pollinators, which is critical for healthy ecosystems and economic systems. We, as teachers and parents of preschoolers have to encourage them to love and support and protect them, so they can become protectors and advocates for these amazing insects.
World Penguin Day is celebrated on April 25th, to encourage people to learn more about them, their environment, their importance to our ecosystem and the threats they faced to becoming extinct. Earth Day is celebrated on April 22 around the world. It is important to teach preschoolers about the importance of our Planet Earth, the many environmental concerns that exist, how we can help this planet stay clean and healthy, and introduce important concepts such as recycling, reusing, reducing, planting, pollution, and protecting endangered species.
World Wildlife Day will be celebrated under the theme “Recovering key species for ecosystem restoration”, to draw attention to the most critically endangered species of wild fauna and flora. Start raising awareness about wildlife conservation, and talk to your preschoolers of the importance of protecting our environment and everything in it, every day!

Martin Luther King Jr.’s Day is going to be celebrated on January 17, 2022, and it is a perfect opportunity to teach your preschoolers who was this person, and why we celebrated this day.

The World Animal Day was created to unites the animal welfare movement, mobilizing it into a global force to make the world a better place for all animals, and it is our responsibility as parents and teachers to raise awareness on our children, and encourage them to become advocates and defenders of wildlife, to create the base for our future generations’ growth and enjoyment of their company.
World Farm Animal Day is October 2nd and these theme clip cards are the perfect letter identification and beginning sounds activity for that day. It is also a good resource to add to your farm animals’ theme.
